3 Books that made me weep with joy:

  2. The Wars by Timothy Findley
  3. Of Mice and Men by John Steinbeck

3 Books that manage to take both hope and godforsakenness seriously:

  1. The Crucified God by Jurgen Moltmann
  2. Mysterium Pachale by Hans Urs von Balthsar
  3. Hope in Time of Abandonment by Jacques Ellul

3 Books I love for reasons I won’t share with others:

  1. I’ve just seen your discussion with John Stackhouse promoted on his blog, hope it goes well. I note he says “some” theology can be made with reference to the poor. It “seems” to me the some can quickly degenerate to “most” what ever the formal validity of the argument.
In any case, hope it goes well .

Shhhhh! I keep my ninja training a well kept secret. I can neither confirm nor deny as to whether or not it did or did not change my life. Hell, I can also neither confirm nor deny that a book called Secrets of the Ninja actually exists and is composed of pure awesomeness.
